Community Guidelines

These guidelines keep the Optimum Wellness Community safe, respectful and genuinely useful for everyone on a health journey.

Community discussions are for education and peer support only. Information shared by community members does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Do not share personal medical information, medical records, prescriptions or other sensitive information publicly.

If this is a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately — do not wait for a community reply.

Be respectful

  • Treat every member with kindness — many people here are managing difficult health conditions.
  • Disagree with ideas, never attack people. Harassment, hate speech and discrimination are removed.
  • No self-promotion, spam or commercial solicitation.

Medical safety

  • The Community is for education and peer support only. It is not a consultation.
  • Never present personal opinion as medical fact, and never tell another member to start or stop a medication.
  • Misinformation is removed by our moderators. Where possible, point to reputable sources.
  • For a clinical answer, book a teleconsultation with an Optimum Wellness doctor.

Protect your privacy

  • Do not post medical records, prescriptions, lab reports, images of documents or full names.
  • Do not share other people's information — including family members and clinicians.
  • Your mood check-ins are private by default; they are only visible if you choose to share them.

How moderation works

  • Members can edit or remove their own posts and replies at any time.
  • Admins may hide, flag, lock or archive content that breaks these guidelines, and will note the reason.
  • Content is never automatically deleted. Records are retained for accountability.
  • Permanent deletion is restricted to the Optimum Wellness Owner account.
  • Every moderation action is written to an audit trail.
